The Feathers Hotel - Woodstock

The location was central, close to all prepared, and numerous bars and restaurants. Also, a Blenheim palace was 2 miles away from the hotel👍

I have stayed at the Feathers once before and generally been happy, although the rooms aren't air conditioned. They do have wifi in the hotel but it all comes down to what room you are in. Some rooms get very poor...  

Lovely hotel but staff did not seem to know much about the area or about the history of the hotel.

The rooms were a little too modern, which made them look cheap rather than classy. Should have stuck to earthy colours and traditional fixtures/fittings to match the hotel and area.

The staff are knowledgeable and I loved their attitude. There is plenty of fab food for breakfast.

Brilliant range of continental and English breakfast in a nice setting. Really nice staff and good service. The room is better than the five star Randolph hotel in the Oxford city centre, and has a decent size en-suite bathroom....

Excellent position relative to Blenheim Palace and Oxford. Attentive staff and a first class restaurant.

Lack of air conditioning in higher level rooms. Hot air tended to rise up the stair well.

great location but temporary scaffolding

The location made it easy to explore the area including Blenheim Palace. The bathroom offered generous space and quality toiletries felt luxurious.

The temporary scaffolding situation affected the building's overall appearance.

located in very interesting and enjoyable country town. adjacent to Blenheim Palaceand Churchill's graveyard church 2 miles away.

The hotel was perfectly clean with delightfully helpful and especially helpful staff on the reception desk. The breakfast was included, that was a bonus. Ideal location - only a short distance to everywhere we needed. We had goodies and coffee at Barefoot Bakery,...  

great stay with minor disruptions

The staff provided really good service throughout our stay as guests. The recent hotel upgrades have significantly enhanced its charm.

Lack of parking, very small rooms - especially the standard room for my parents.

From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were extremely hospitable. The room was fantastic, generous family sized room, clean and comtemporary decor. The food was excellent. We ate a la carte in the restuarant, exquisite. Just...  

This hotel was a suitable option for a mini-vacation in Woodstock with reasonable value. The staff were super friendly, especially a young man behind the bar who chatted with us about gin. Be sure to check out the gin selection during your stay.
